For the last decade I've led the platform and reliability function for a globally distributed video infrastructure company, through its evolution from VDMS to EdgeCast, Edgio, and Uplynk, as both a technical lead and an engineering manager.

Led 15 engineers across 3 countries. Held 99.995% availability across a 10,000-server estate through two parallel migrations, and delivered $2.7M in platform cost optimization.
DevOps Manager · Edgio (formerly EdgeCast)
Ran two teams, around 20 engineers. Eliminated over $1M/year in SLA credits, cut MTTR from 30 minutes to 5, and led the EKS migration saving $1.8M/year.
Sr. DevOps Engineer · EdgeCast (formerly VDMS)
Built tooling and the EKS platform for a 10,000-server estate, and kept CI/CD continuous across five platform transitions.

Directed 20+ engineers and built a multi-cohort intern program, mentoring engineers from intern to staff (100% full-time conversion), and drove the Vagrant to Docker to Kubernetes modernization.
